MAIN ENTRANCE:

There is a lockbox in the foyer on the right hand side wall the code is 7081.

-Pull down the black cover

-Enter code 7081

-Pull down to open & close.

Follow the same steps for closing as well.

-Due to numerous key losses you MUST keep this key in the lockbox and do not take this key with you. Once you have unlocked the front door for yourself, put the key back in the lockbox. If this key gets lost there will be a large penalty since we would need to change the locks and replace all tenants of the building's keys.

To close the lockbox you may need to enter the code again and once it is locked scramble the numbers.

APARTMENT DOOR:

-Apartment 4 is on the 2nd floor. The apartment door uses a keypad; the code will be programmed to the last 4 digits of your phone number.

-Tap the pad to activate

-Enter the last 4 digits of the phone number you booked with

-Press bottom right triangle button. Wait for the light to turn blue before opening.

-To lock the door when you leave just hold down the bottom right triangle button for 20 seconds until it beeps and flashes red.

Door must be FULLY CLOSED to unlock & lock.

If you are still having trouble please watch this instructional video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HKxG1IcmAGXz4_a3CgExOCnOcjhMGuDG/view?usp=sharing

Please try to refrain from overuse of the locks by locking and unlocking from the inside multiple times as this can drain the battery very fast. If by chance the batteries die on the apartment door lock there are replacement batteries in one of the kitchen drawers.

Hallways/Common Areas:
Hoboken does not allow elevators in buildings built before 2005, so it is common that most places in Hoboken you need to walk up stairs. This apartment is on the 2nd floor, only 1 flight of stairs up. While you are in the hallways please be mindful that you are passing by residents’ homes and they would appreciate your respect and quiet behaviors.

Towels/Linens:
Yes, we provide towels and linens. We will leave enough out for you and have extras available upon request. You can find extra sheets and towels inside the brown cabinet in the large bedroom. You can find extra quilts underneath the bunk bed. You will also find extra pillows for the pull out couch inside the couch storage.

Supplies:
We will provide basic starter supplies, for example toilet paper, coffee pods, sugars, teas, napkins, soaps, and washer pods for the first few days of your stay. If you are coming for a longer stay and need more than what we provide at some point, we ask that you bring it or pick up items that are important to you. Just ask where the nearest store is, there are plenty to choose from like a CVS just a few blocks away. You might also notice that in our bathrooms there are some hygiene products like hair sprays or perfumes which we call “communal products” that guests have left behind for other future guests.
We do have some of our own supplies in the bottom kitchen cabinets and we ask that you do not use these supplies and leave these items untouched.

Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi login is sent to you with your check-in instructions, but you can also find it in the guidebook inside the apartment as well as underneath the router. If the Wi-Fi ever gets disconnected, please unplug the router, wait 5 minutes, plug it back in and try again. The router is located under the desk in the large bedroom. If it is still out there may be an outage with the company. Please text me if this happens.

Toilets:
We have strong toilets but please do not ever flush sanitary products or other items not meant for a toilet. There are plungers if needed in every bathroom.

Air Conditioners & Heaters:
In the summer months there will be window air conditioning machines, please turn these off when you leave the apartment to conserve electricity. In the winter months the heating is controlled by the building and will turn on automatically once the building interior reaches a certain temperature. If the heat is too hot please do not open the windows as this will only trigger the heaters to keep running.
There are fans throughout the apartment for your use if needed.

Pull Out Couches:
The living room has a couch that will pull out into a sleeper bed.
1. move the coffee table over.
2. Pull the bottom of the couch out then up.
The chase is also a storage area for extra linens -  just pull up.

Bunk Bed:
There are certain risks associated with using a bunk bed and bunk bed ladder, and guests agree that use is at your own risk. Property owner assumes no responsibility for personal loss, injury, or illness of any kind which may result from use of the bunk bed and ladder. The owners are not liable for any accidents occurring. Parents with children should be especially cautioned regarding ladder use and agree to accept all responsibility for minors. While not an exhaustive list of precautions, guests agree to follow these industry standards: 1) Use of top bunk is limited to occupants 6 years or older; 2) Use of top bunk is limited to 1 occupant and a maximum 175 lb weight; 3) No jumping or other horseplay on or around the bed; 4) Always use ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk. There will be a $800.00 charge for any damages specifically to the bunk beds due to the guests negligence.
